Keeping our team safe is a priority at Carvela. Our warehouse team have daily temperature checks and access to masks, sanitiser and gloves provided and we’re also monitoring the wellbeing of our teams during this stressful time. We’ve created hygiene-related guidelines and training and have tripled our cleaning schedules. We’ve also installed plexiglass in busy areas, ensured that our team is spaced out in line with social distancing guidelines and have made work schedule changes to ensure everyone is working in the safest way possible.
That means if anyone in our warehouse team tests positive for COVID-19, the facility will shut for deep sanitisation, and a tracing investigation. If any of our warehouse team has been in contact with anyone with COVID-19, they are sent for testing before they can return to work.

COVID AND YOUR DELIVERIES
We know that online shopping is in high demand, which is why we’ve adapted our delivery options slightly. Our couriers are still making (contactless!) deliveries throughout the week and our international deliveries remain unaffected. Although due to high demand, there could be a slightly longer wait than usual.
